WHY HE WAS NOMINATED:

Dr. Capalbo is a third-generation dentist, the seventh in his family. He’s dedicated to continuing education, having taken courses in implant restoration, 3i Diem System denture conversion and overdenture restoration, as well as classes on periodontal disease.

PHILOSOPHY:

“My life philosophy, which spills over into dentistry, is to give more than you take each day.”

INSPIRATION:

“My grandfather, father, uncle and two older brothers are all dentists — all still practicing, aside from my grandfather, who passed away— along with a sister-in-law who does pedo. It’s tough to pick just one, but it would be my father, the hardest-working and most dedicated person I’ve ever known.”

SOMETHING PEOPLE DON’T KNOW:

“I started a golf clothing line this year. I love to golf, and I also love clothing, so I decided to start my own brand. It’s in the beginning stages and has a long way to go, but it’s something I enjoy doing in my limited free time.”
