Hints of Dr. Ghazzouli’s yen for dentistry began in childhood: Young Hadi would wait until his grandfather was eating so he could clean and inspect his dentures during family meals. “I’ve always been fascinated with teeth,” he says. Now, with the help of his mentor and business partner, Dr. Alexandre Cho, Dr. Ghazzouli owns several practices.
“My parents. They came to the United States when they were young and are two of the hardest-working people I know. My father taught me to do whatever it takes to reach my accomplishments, and my mom taught me to value optimism. In dentistry, your patients don’t always want to see you, which is tough—so I always come to work with a positive vibe and do my best to pass it along.”
“Explore and have patience. Don’t give yourself limitations out of the gate. There may be practice styles you think aren’t for you but actually are, and vice-versa. Don’t handcuff yourself to one or two opportunities.”
