Pinnacle Peak Dental Care
DMD, Midwestern University College of Dental Medicine
Dr. Hollingsworth purchased her first practice with her fiancé (now her husband), Dr. Taylor Funk, in 2019 after starting her career focused on implant dentistry. Her alma mater, Midwestern University, soon invited her to join its faculty. She cofounded its implant program, placing more than 1,000 during her time there. Currently, she and Dr. Funk work closely with a local rehabilitation center to provide needed dental care to individuals who have suffered substance abuse and addiction problems.
“The Woodson elevator. I’ve found multiple applications for which it works great.”
“Owning a practice. Ironically, this is also one of the most rewarding parts of my career. Knowing I wanted to own a practice, I took several CE courses and read books on how to run a business. Now I know no book can prepare you for owning a practice.”
“I was voted ‘least likely to be sued’ in dental school. I’m not sure why, but I’ve always found it funny.”
