Upper Valley Endodontics
Endodontics
DMD, Tufts University School of Dental Medicine
An author, teacher, mother and endo master, Dr. Lucier-Pryles set the bar high even before her career. Having graduated valedictorian from Tufts Dental, she’s comfortable being at the front of the class and currently teaches endodontics residents at Tufts and Harvard. She’s also currently serving a term on the board of the Vermont State Dental Society.
“Ours is a profession full of incredible opportunities: clinical experiences, continuing education, academic roles and responsibilities, organized dentistry, volunteerism, mentorship and beyond. Sometimes saying no to some of these opportunities, though, is just as important as saying yes. Your time is your most valuable resource. Does what you’re being offered fit into your career or personal goals? Does it spark your interest? If not, say no. Overcommitment can detract from your ability to fully engage in the things you’re passionate about. Do what you love, and do so enthusiastically.”
“Listen well, be kind and seek excellence.”
Dr. Lucier-Pryles credits her Tufts mentors, Drs. Daniel Green and Robert Amato. “Dr. Green modeled an unwavering determination to understand the science that supports the specialty of endodontics, as well as a persistent curiosity about our patients.” Of Dr. Amato, she says, “his commitment to clinical and professional excellence serves as the model for my own clinical practice.”
