Why He Was Nominated

On the final day of his orthodontics program, the director
advised the entire class not to open up an office across the street from the future Dr. Davis, because his kind and careful manner would enable him to poach their patients. Now, ironically, he owns a year-old practice that’s located across the street from that very director.

Favorite Aspect of Dentistry

Dr. Davis likes building relationships with patients. “We’re something in their lives,” he says. “Now we’re seeing pictures from the prom, and we put them up on the bulletin board in the main office.”

Practice Philosophy

“Treat everybody the way we would want to be treated,” he says. Jokingly, he adds, “If you’ve got teeth, we can move ’em . . . as long as they’re real teeth.”
