Incisal Edge earns another award, plus more honorable mentions for editorial excellence

Benco Dental’s Incisal Edge magazine was honored for yet another consecutive year by the prestigious Folio: Eddie & Ozzie Awards celebrating excellence in editorial content and design across both print and digital media. The awards are divided into two main categories: Eddie awards honoring the best in editorial content (articles, features, and overall editorial excellence) and Ozzies honoring exceptional design (magazine covers, layouts, and overall visual presentation). This year, over 1,000 entries were received across nearly 80 categories and Incisal Edge was recognized as follows:

• Winner, Eddies > Analysis > B2B, “All In The Family,” a deep dive on shifting gender roles in dental entrepreneurship.
• Honorable Mention, Ozzies > Cover Design > B2B > Above 100,000 Circulation, “40 Under 40 Top Dentists in America 2023.”
• Honorable Mention, Ozzies>Feature Design>B2B, “40 Under 40 Top Dentists in America 2023.”
• Honorable Mention, Ozzies > Photography > B2B, “40 Under 40 Top Dentists in America 2023.”

FOLIO: recognizes Incisal Edge with Honorable Mention awards for editorial

For more than 20 years, the Eddie & Ozzie Awards have recognized excellence in magazine editorial and design across all sectors of the industry. Folio:’s cornerstone awards program returned to the 2017 Folio: Show, where hundreds of magazine media executives gathered to celebrate the very best in stunning design and uncompromising journalism.

A panel of more than 300 judges narrowed more than 2,500 entries into a pool of roughly 800 finalists. In total, 262 awards were given out across 33 categories. The awards are broken into four main categories: Eddies and Eddies Digital for the best in print and digital editorial, and Ozzies and Ozzies Digital for the best in magazine and website design.
