Transcend Dental
DMD, University of Pennsylvania; MDPH, Rutgers University
The startup concept took on new meaning for Dr. Pandit when he acquired an abandoned practice at the onset of the pandemic. For three months, patients’ calls had gone unanswered. In a short time, he stepped in and turned the failing practice around. He assembled his team, adding procedures and services such as emergency walk-in care, removable prostheses, endodontic treatment, implant prostheses, pediatric and geriatric dentistry.
“It combines medicine and surgery. It’s a rare specialty where we perform advanced surgical procedures on conscious patients in one of the most vulnerable part of their bodies.”
“Every time I feel a situation is too challenging, I remember the resilience and ferocity of my parents in handling far more difficult situations.”
“Regaining countless patients’ confidence in dentistry, and the opportunity to create long-lasting relationships.”
