Why She Was Nominated:

Dr. Johnson and her husband, Dr. Cody Boals (see page 41), opened Kissing Camels Family Dentistry in 2018 and have been giving back to those in need ever since, both financially and through donated dental services. Every quarter, the practice partners with a local nonprofit, donating $5 for every new patient and helping educate the public on the nonprofit’s mission.

Most Memorable Patient:

“Starting off, I worked three jobs: corporate, nonprofit and private practice. Before starting our current practice with my husband, I worked at another private practice. I have a patient who followed me to all places until I found my home office. She is the sweetest lady, full of spunk. She had some complications with osteonecrosis due to medications, and we had to make some changes with her teeth due to this. She’s always in a great mood, and I love seeing her.”
