Dr. Cotey’s practice has gone from global to local. She started her career treating Navy patients in Japan, then scaled down to a group practice in Madison, Wisconsin. Now she’s in a small practice in a small town where she can offer patients her wealth of experience.
“I just love the interaction with people.”
“We want our patients to feel like we treated them as an individual,” she says. “We take the time to listen to them and get to know their needs and goals.”
In February, Dr. Cotey began giving her patients Cinemizer 3D-movie-style glasses to wear in the operating chair. Made by Zeiss, they allow patients to stream movies from Netflix or Amazon.
“My staff. In a small office, every person is important.”
“Find a mentor who shares your vision and philosophy, because he or she can give you great advice.”
