Kumra Orthodontics
Orthodontics
DDS, Howard University College of Dentistry
Dr. Kumra provides honest, ethical care to patients across his two practices, both of which he had opened within two years of graduating from residency. His treatment uses the latest technology, with scanners in every room, CBCT and digital dentistry; he operates a fully paperless office. He teaches at the residency program at Howard University, his alma mater, and is a member of the District of Columbia Dental Society and the Dental Society of Northern Virginia, as well as several study groups with restorative dentists in his area.
“My mother. She’s a single mother of three and always kept us on the right track.”
“The first person I ever put on braces on: a 76-year-old who needed room between her top and bottom teeth to be able to get dentures. I still keep in touch with her—she bakes the best sweet-potato pie and is kind enough to bring one over every holiday season.”
“Working between two offices that are 40 miles apart on the portion of I-95 that has been voted the third-worst stretch of interstate in the country.”
“Fell in love during the pandemic and now working on starting our family. We are expecting baby Kumra this winter.”
“I was afraid of animals in general until I got married to an animal lover. Now I’m a proud puppy lover of my 7-month-old French bulldog, Drago.”
