Why He Was Nominated:

Long before he met his wife, Dr. Alexa Johnson (see page 46), in dental school, Dr. Boals grew up in Orangeville, Illinois (population 800), the son of trucking-company owners—and knew from a young age that entrepreneurship would be part of his future. Drs. Boals and Johnson opened Kissing Camels Family Dentistry in 2018, and regularly volunteer with an organization called KIND (Kids in Need of Dentistry) to deliver care to underserved children. In addition to their annual gift of more than $25,000 in dental services to local business owners, the couple also donate two full-mouth rehabilitations to deserving patients each year.
