A Diplomate with the American Board of Orthodontics, Dr. Sturgill is an assistant professor for the orthodontic and dentofacial orthopedic residency program at Virginia Commonwealth University. After completing his Certificate in orthodontics and doctorate in health education, he was chosen to participate in an implant osseointegration study at Harvard. He and his wife, endodontist Dr. Riley Sturgill (see below), have traveled together on dental missions as far as the Arctic Circle.
