Why He Was Nominated:

Dr. Cajee is the official Dental Ambassador of 3DHeals, a global health-care 3D printing and innovation platform. He has organized and moderated the dental component of three global 3D printing conferences. In his spare time, he enjoys traveling (to more than 30 countries so far), restoring vintage sailboats and spending time with his wife and newborn daughter.

Inspiration:

“As a child, I watched my grandfather struggle to eat the foods he loved—his full set of dentures limited him. Watching his struggle inspired me to help those like him.”

Something People Don’t Know:

“In dental school, I’d swing by hackerspaces in San Francisco to learn more about 3D printing. During the pandemic I spearheaded a coalition to 3D print and laser cut PPE. Our group delivered 10,000 face shields to frontline workers before supply chains were restored.”
