Following dental school, Dr. Skale completed an AEGD residency at Bay Pines VA in Florida, where he provided free, comprehensive care to veterans. He began a focus on TMJ and sleep therapy and was recommended for Diplomate status by Drs. Allen Moses and Steven Olmos, two “founding fathers” of dental sleep medicine. He is a Diplomate with the American Board of Craniofacial Dental Sleep Medicine and a Fellow of the American Board of Craniofacial Pain.

His O2 nadir was below 80 percent, oxygen desaturation that will negatively affect the developing brain. ‘Bam-Bam’ ended up having an adenotonsillectomy and soon shed his sleep disorder and his nickname.”
